Vulnerability Assessments

Ensuring that your IT systems are protected from cyber attacks is critical not only to your business functions but also to your clients, especially where sensitive and personal data is concerned.

Identify Vulnerabilities & Implement Improvements

To make sure your business’s cyber security is fit for purpose, up to date and operating correctly it’s essential to conduct regular vulnerability assessments.

Our vulnerability assessments include identifying areas that need attention, analysing the risks and creating a report which includes recommendations to solve the problems.

We are then able to implement updates, changes and strategies to mitigate risk in the future.

Vulnerability Assessments

Network Assessments

Our internal or ‘in network’ risk assessment examines your business network – the data highway that your employees use each day. We use a variety of risk assessment tools to identify any exploitable flaws in your network.

Following the identification of key areas such as locations for sensitive data storage and which servers run mission-critical applications etc. we follow a systematic review for all ports and processes, check for misconfigurations and design a plan to resolve them.

There are various types of vulnerability assessments including:

Host Assessment

Host assessments which analyse critical servers for vulnerability to attacks if not adequately tested.

Network and Wireless Assessment

Network and wireless assessments include policy and practice checks to prevent unauthorized access to private or public networks and network-accessible resources.

Database Assessment

Database assessments cover testing big data systems for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, identifying rogue databases or non-secure development and testing environments, and classifying sensitive data across the full infrastructure.

Application Assessment

Application assessments identify security vulnerabilities in web applications and their source code by automated scans on the front-end, or static/dynamic analysis of source code.
