For users of the Microsoft 365 Suite, 2022 will present a price increase in March, unless you’re partnering with an IT support company that’s able to lock in the current price for you.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Microsoft is increasing the price of their flagship product – this is the first substantive increase in a decade, and predictions are that the price will jump by as much as 20 percent.

Microsoft says the increase is based on the improved offering they have developed by bringing the best of their products together into one comprehensive suite, including Office, Windows, Enterprise Mobility and Security and Teams, which has been especially relevant as a virtual communications tool in the past 24 months.

The increase, which comes into effect on 1 March 2022 will affect the following licenses: Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Office 365 E1, Office 365 E3, Office 365 E5 and Microsoft 365.

But there is an option for users of the above products to lock in the current pricing for a specified period of time – eventually, of course, you will need to update to the new pricing but by taking out a managed IT services contract with Trinity Managed Services you’ll at very least keep the increase at bay for some time to come.

We’ll also help you to analyse your exact usage so that any redundant or unnecessary licenses can be discarded now, meaning you’ll not only be operating on managed current costs, but running as efficiently as possible.
